Just received the tracking number for the PolyHero dice I signed up for in Kickstarter over a year ago. Originally due in May, then August, finally late November / early December, they are finally complete and shipping. The final wait begins! Note to PolyHero- NEVER use Chinese manufacturers, or you get year delays.

THIS AMUSES ME GREATLY! Absolutely useless, and if it wasn’t $99 + shipping, I would order the Dwarven one. The creativity of some people never ceases to amaze me. Unfortunately, the kickstarter is a bit pricey for something I’d show off once or twice at a game session and then stop using except as a rolling tower.
For my own part, I have always felt Dice towers helped with randomization. At a bare minimum they prevented player manipulation (I knew a few folks in college that rolled really well, above average in fact, until the introduction of a dice tower) and I suspected the abrupt stop of the dice prevented them from rolling till they found their center of gravity…which if they were off-balance… would lead to skewed rolls.
