Was discussing gaming with my players on Saturday. We’re all older gamers, playing AD&D 1e, and all used to game togeather years ago before RL got a grip that lasted almost 30 years. Started out with our observations on major differences between old vs new gaming.
While I normally do not like things where animals might have gotten hurt, this one brings back memories…

Found this on a gaming humor site…but if you read close, its very good instructions to the new players, especially the last line ‘Remember: If you can’t find the trap with your eyes, you will eventually find it with your hit points’.
I added a new sub-forum under Gaming Accessories. The dice forum will contain links to neat dice I and others have found around the web.
Yesterday, I finished the 1e Magic-User spell cards for levels 1-7 and am a bit over halfway through Level 8. Just need to finish 8, do 9 and then I can zip and post the spell cards for download. Next on the list will be Cleric spells.
Front and back cover art, plus 9 form pages for recording known spells in the magic-user’s spellbook. PDF file, just open and print as many spellbooks as needed. Drop a couple pages and perfect for that illusionist in your group.
What do I think is ‘Old School Gaming’? Woo! This one is gonna be LONG.
Happy new year! And welcome to the start of 2017.
