Did a bit of shopping this week, seems the current occupants of the dice collection were getting lonely so I invited over a few friends (and since I had not purchased dice in a while, I was feeling the need ). 🙂
Chessex 27506 -Ruby with Gold Glitter. Apparently companion set to the Gold with Silver glitter I purchased last Fall.

A little packet of joy landed on my desk this morning….a full five days sooner than USPS estimated it would arrive.
Will have to make a few rolls with them at this weekend’s game, see how they roll and if I want to use them or just add to the collection. Either way, is a good day.
Just received the tracking number for the PolyHero dice I signed up for in Kickstarter over a year ago. Originally due in May, then August, finally late November / early December, they are finally complete and shipping. The final wait begins! Note to PolyHero- NEVER use Chinese manufacturers, or you get year delays.
Due in Friday, I have these on order. They amuse me greatly. 🙂
More dice for my collection. They reopened the kickstarter due to popular demand, so I snagged myself the Blue Elder Sign set.
Thinking of seeing if it will let me add the red Cthulhu set in pledge manager. 🙂 Not sure on the ETA of these.
Also, ordered the Brimstone with Sulfur set of these dice. ETA on these is June.
Played around with a 3D printer again yesterday. Finally sold myself on dropping the $$$ to get one for home. Made this dice box with swiveling lid…
I added a new sub-forum under Gaming Accessories. The dice forum will contain links to neat dice I and others have found around the web.
For my own part, I have always felt Dice towers helped with randomization. At a bare minimum they prevented player manipulation (I knew a few folks in college that rolled really well, above average in fact, until the introduction of a dice tower) and I suspected the abrupt stop of the dice prevented them from rolling till they found their center of gravity…which if they were off-balance… would lead to skewed rolls.
